The MRCC Ambassador Raptors have each sustained injuries which prevent them from
being released back into the wild.  Each bird was transferred from our rehabilitation permit
to our special purposes permit, to be used for educational purposes.  Under this permit
each bird is required to be presented at twelve educational programs annually.

Housed at MRCC, each of the ambassador raptors has his own individual cage. They are
trained to perch on the fist and to be transported in carriers to the educational programs
and events, where they are the center focus of our programs.
